Mrs Randal Winn of New Braunfels announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsay Marie to Russell Conway Burkey the son of Mr and Mrs Ronald Burkey of Boeme The brideelect and her fiance are 1994 graduates of Smithson Valley High School and are presently attend ing Texas University where Lindsay is studying kinesiology and Russell is studying mechanical engi neering The couple will wed on Aug 17 1996 at the First United Methodist Church of Boeme Kimberly Byrd and Eldin Lee Cooper III Byrd and Cooper to wed Kimberly Byrd is engaged to marry Eldin Lee Cooper III both of Lub bock The bridetobe is the daughter of and Stanley Byrd of New Braunfels She graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1992 and attends Texas Tech University where she majors in art history She is a mem ber of Sigma Phi Lambda and is employed with Texas Tech University The future bridegroom is the son of Sherry and Eldin Cooper li of Por tales NM A 1992 graduate of Por tales High School he is a design com munications major at Texas Tech Uni versity He is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the Design Comm Association and is employed with Best Buy The couple will wed June at First Baptist Church in Lubbock Mr and Mrs Darren Marach In late March 1996 Darren Marsch and Anne Marie Foumet were mar ried in a double ring wedding ceremo ny which was held in the chapel of a historic Southern Belle Plantation Home Tezcuco in Burnside La The chapel was flanked with white lilies of the valley pink calla lilies and hot pink peonies decorated throughout the aisles foyer and throughout the chapel Darryl R Marsch brother of the groom served as Best Man Laura Marsch was Matron of Honor wearing a cornflower blue chiffon satin dress Darryl and Laura live in Alexandria Va Darren L Marsch is the soriyof Viona L Marsch of New Braunfels and of M L Marsch of San Antonio The grooms mother Viona Marsch wore a designer blue lace anklelength dress with matching shoes Anne Marie Foumet is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Foumet of Kinder La The bride wore a designer white silk anklelength dress with satin piping trim and matching shoes She carried pink roses Later guests were served dinner Also served were wed ding cakes designed with rosebuds and porcelain white love buds on the cakes Dr Melissa R Ludwig of Houston served the wedding cakes Darren Marsch and wife Anne Marie will live in their new home in Lake Charles where they are both employed in Louisiana Stacey Bowen and Jason Lawry Bowen Lawry to wed Stacey Rene6 Bowen of New Braunfels is engaged to marry Jason Reid Lawry of Kyle Texas The bride tobe is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Elton Wetz Jr of New Braunfels She is a New Braunfels High School grad uate The future bridegroom is the son of Mr and John N Lawry Jr of Kyle He graduated from Canyon High School and is employed with Senior Flexonics Inc The wedding is planned for June 22 1996 at First Protestant Church in New Braunfels John Ploch and Carrie Pollok Pollock and Ploch to wed Carrie Suzanne Pollok of San Anto nio is engaged to marry John Joseph Ploch of Kenedy Texas The bride tobe is the daughter of Mr and Mrs William F Pollok of San Antonio She graduated from Canyon High School and from Incarnate Word College with a in interdisciplinary ly childhood She is employed with the San Antonio Independent School District as an elementary teacher The future bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Ploch of Flo resville A Floresville High School graduate he has a in entomology and a in plant protection from Texas He is a ranch manager with the Veladi Ranch in Karnes Texas The wedding is planned for July 13 1996 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Selma Melanie Roach and Chad Schneider Roach Schneider to wed Melanie Roach is engaged to marry Chad Schneider both of San Marcos The bridetobe is the daughter of Ger ald and Carolyn Roach of Houston and the granddaughter of Gladys Roach of Palestine and Grace Bar rineau of Houston She graduated from Spring Woods High School in Houston in 1991 and will graduate from South west Texas State University in May 1996 with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies She is a menv
