Lucy Ellen O’Bryant, of New Braunfels, died Thursday Nov. 9 at the Arboretum Nursing Home at the age of 87. She is survived by sons Edgar O’Bryant and wife Shirley of New Braunfels, Louis O’Bryant Jr. of New Braunfels; sister Sarah Clements of Marietta, Georgia; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren; I Great-Great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tues. Nov. 14 at Zoeller Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be said Monday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home. Allen, his mother Linda Schrank, Canyon Lake,Texas, one sister Linda Crystal Allen, Oklahoma City, Okalahoma. Graveside Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, with Rev. Hilmer Flugrath officiating. Interment will be in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. The Canyon Lake Noon Lions Club has oiganized the event for Monday, Nov. 13 from I to 3:30 p.m. at Frank’s Supermarket, located at the intersection ofFM 3159 and FM 2673. Those eligible to donate blood are people 17 to 72 years of age who weigh at least I IO pounds. To ensure that the donor’s blood will be acceptable to the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center personnel who will be on hand for the event, donors should eat iron-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables and low-fat meats prior to attending the blood drive. Following the drive, donors should drink plenty of non-alcoholic liquids. All donors must show proper identification when they arrive at the drive (identification with donor’s name, Social Security number or photo ID acceptable).
