These offerings are proposed to become effective on August 7, 1995. Subscription to these services is optional. Cancel Call Waiting is a feature which allows a customer to temporarily prevent, on a per-call basis any incoming call from invoking the call-waiting tone on their line Instead, the incoming call would receive a busy signal. Voice/Data Protection permits a customer to prevent an incoming call from invoking the call waiting tone on their line, permanently, through the use of a customer invoked dialing code. Call Waiting is suspended until the customer reactivates it through a dialing code. Warm Line Alert Service is a service which provides that a preselected number will ring whenever the subscribing customer’s telephone is off-hook for a designated number of seconds and no dialing occurs. Permanent Call Forwarding is a feature which provides 'or all incoming calls to a directory number to be permanently forwarded to another dialable telephone number.
