Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking scientific information and public comment on a proposal to list as endangered three species found in Comal and Hays counties. The three species are the Comal Springs riffle beetle, the Comal Springs dryopid beetle and the Peck’s cave amphipod. Comments on the proposal are invited and will be accepted until Aug. 3. Recreational and educational activities are available at the Lone Star School and the Lamar School. Activities throughout the summer will be based on themes such as safety, health and fitness, multi-cultural themes, Olympics, science and nature, pioneer Ufo, around the world and careers.
