Survivors include her husband, Dustin L. Payne, of Fort Worth; a son, Robert Louis Patton Jr., of Dallas; and stepmother, Nathalie Carl, of New Braunfels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan H. and Nola Mai Carl. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 1995 at University Christian Church in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth. Mary Jane Williams Mary Jane Williams, of San Antonio, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 1995 at San Antonio Regional Hospital at the age of 47. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 1995 at IO a.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Comal Cemetery. Visitation began after 11 a.m. on Wednesday and continues until service time on Friday.NBHS Girls and Boys State winners 7&!k JLSfuNi fer~ WNI WL HOME (tacit L. Threadgill Cecil L. Threadgill passed away at his residence in New Braunfels on Tuesday, June 6,1995 at the age of 79. Mr. Threadgill was bom in Bastrop, Texas to Robert and Emma (Barber) Threadgill. On May I, 1937, he married Naomi Constable in New Braunfels, where they lived most of their life. He was a retired sheet metal mechanic and also worked for Air-maid Hosiery Mill and Mr. M Food Store as manager. Mr. Threadgill was preceded in death by one son, Michael Alan. Funeral services will be Friday, June 9, 1995 at Zoeller Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. with Lloyd Mansfield officiating. Interment will be in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Visitation begins Thursday at 6 p.m. and will continue until service time on Friday. Memorials may be made to Hospice of New Braunfels or to the charity of one’s choice. leTs. 7&jk jLLSruN 'FUNERAL HOME Isabel Loraine (Schumann) Haubner Isabel Loraine (Schumann) Haubner, of New Braunfels, died Tuesday, June 6, 1995 in San Antonio at the age of 76. She was bom July 22,1918 to Alex and Alma (Pantermuel) Schumann in New Braunfels. She was raised and attended school in New Braunfels and business school in Austin. She married Eugene Haubner at the Lutheran Church in Knippa, Texas on May 31, 1948. She and her husband attended church services regularly at Randolph AFB Chapel until her illness got more serious. Survivors include her husband, Eugene; one daughter, Crystal Yates and husband Jeff, of New Braunfels; one sister, Evelyn Ward and husband Delbert, of San Antonio; one niece and three nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 9, 1995 at 10:30 a.m. at Doeppcnschmidt Funeral Home with Chaplain Joel Botcllo, Captain, USAF, officiating. Private interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home Christyne E. Houston Christyne E. Houston, a resident of Canyon Lake since 1972, passed away at Eden Home on Tuesday, June 6, 1995 at the age of 87. She was bom on March I, 1908 in Holland, Texas to Charles William and Susan Bell (Hayden) Bouchillon and married Ed Houston on Feb. 15, 1941 in Houston, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death in 1982. She was a retired floral designer and a member of the Canyon Lake Church of Christ. Survivors include her sisters, Artie Haydon Bond, of Canyon Lake and Dorisnel Coolgrove, of Houston; 2 nieces; 6 nephews; 14 great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly. Her sister Wilma, of Dallas, died in 1993. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 9, 1995 at 2 p.m. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake with Rev. Carl Dye officiating. Interment will follow at Cranes Mill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 arn. Friday and continue until service time. They choose their own officials in accordance with regular election procedures. They learn the duties of the various city, county and state offices. They introduce and debate their own bills in Boys State, Craig Sciantarelli, Adham Sood. Not pictured, Shannon Millet and Kelly Garza. a legislature. The young citizens learn by doing. The Girls State program is on the campus of Texas Lutheran College at Seguin and the Boys State is at the University of Texas at Austin. This program is sponsored through the American legion and the American Legion Auxiliary.
