The monthly meeting and dinner of the 1942 Class of New Braunfels High School will be held at Krause’s Cafe at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 for information, call Jim Rheinlaender at 625-5445. Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sat. Feb. 25, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dittlinger Memorial Library, District 2 Councilwoman Mary Serold will conduct a city council agenda review. For information, call 625-5854 or 625-5987. The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Ferdinand Lindheimer Chapter, will meet at Forke Store at Conservation Plaza Saturday, Feb. 11, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be Wayne Cox, an archeologist at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Hermann Sons Albert Kypfer Lodge #106 will have its Ladies Valentine Party Feb. 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lodge hall at Clear Springs The public is welcome to the bunco party. Members are asked to bring a cake and an attendance prize. Coalition of Former Military Wives meets at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at Shooey’s Airport Restaurant, Loop 410 and Jones Maltzberger. Call 653-8668. The Captain James Jack Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold its monthly meeting Monday. Feb. 13 at 9:30 a m. at the education building, 430 W. Mill St. Nancy Krueger. will speak on Foundations of American Government. Hostesses will be Florence Carey and Marilyn Houde. The New Braunfels Lioness Club will meet at Ryan’s Monday. Feb. 13 at 11 a.m. Gifts and donations for the Children’s Shelter will be collected. Members are reminded to start collecting items for the garage sale March 18. and to remind their friends and neighbors that donations wtf be accepted On Monday.
