New Braunfels Herald Zeitung (Newspaper) - November 6, 1994, New Braunfels, Texas 8 A ■ Herald-Zeitung ■ Sunday, Nov. 6, 1994 Cathy Talcott Leadership New Braunfels Cathy Talcott is the President of Cell-U-Insul Inc., a home insulation company she acquired with her husband in 1992. She was bom in Poteet and has been a resident of New Braunfels for 2 1/2 years. She is married and has one child, age seven. Cathy received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Cathy is a member of the Mu Phi Epsilon sorority, publicity chairman of the Downtown Association and a member of the Chamber as well as serving on the Convention and Visitors Bureau Committee and Sesquicentennial Committee. r She is also a board member for I Friends For Rivers, Herald-Zeitung Advisory Board and a member of the First United Methodist Church Choir. Cathy also spends time volunteering for the 1994 Brownies, Red Stocking Revue, Lone Star Elementary and Church programs. Her hobbies include singing, camping, canoeing and traveling. Cathy is convinced that the backie of a community is volunteers, igh the Leadership New Braunfels program, she is eager to learn more about the different aspects of pur community which depend on volunteers and how this resource can be used to its fullest. • • ID i b Waidrip is a native of New Braunfels and graduated from New Braunfels High School tn 1982 where he was in the honor society and the top IO percent of his class. He attended Texas A&M University where he received his journalism degree and received his law degree from St. Mary’s University in 1990. He is presently the Assistant DA for the Comal County District Attorney’s office and has been employed there since 1993. He is single and enjoys hunting, fishing and golf. Dib is a member of the State Bar College and the American Bar Association He is also a member of the Noon Lions Club, First Baptist Church, Young Life, Republican Party of Comal County and a lecturer for the New Braunfels Police Department, Sheriffs Office and Texas Narcotics Officers’ Association Dib feels that he will benefit from the Leadership New Braunfels Program by broadening his knowledge of the governmental, industnal and societal bases in Comal County Dr. Judith A.
