be able to crown a baseball cham pion this week Teams have until Saturday midnight to see who will represent the district in playoff action New Braunfels Boerne and Uvalde are the three teams vying for the two playoff spots New Braun fels sits atop the district standings with an 111 mark followed by Boerne at 112 and Uvalde at 93 The Unicorns stand in good shape with two games to play Should they defeat Alamo Heights tonight they would clinch at least a tie of the district title and claim the championship because of a 20 advantage over Boeme in district play We can clinch a district championship said coach Neal Miller Boeme could win outright if they win tonight and we lose our last New Braunfels plays in Alamo Heights at 7 and Boeme trav els to Uvalde for a key contest Uvalde
