Puhls also was Most Valuable Player for TAPPS District 9A. John Nagy, a junior, and Daniel Puhls, a sophomore, wedre named to the TAPPSS Class IA Final Four All-Tournament Team. SV girls track team places fourth From staff reports_ KERRVILLE —The Smithson Valley girls track team placed fourth at the Kerrville Tivy Track Meet last weekend. Staci Kortz won the two-mile with a time of 11:52.53. Lindsey Winn won the high jump with ajump of 5'6". In the 400-meter sprint relay, the team of Lindsey Works, Michelle Moore, RaJeane Stewart and Celeste Baker placed third with a time of :51.78.
