and Betsey Phillips Kuempel honored by business organization State Representative Edmund Kuempel RSeguin was given the Leader of Excellence award by the Free Enterprise PAC for his work dur ing the 73rd Legislative Session Kuempel was recognized for his conservative legislative voting record by the group and was nominated for the Free Enterprise PACs 1993 Texas Ten award many y ears the Free Enter prise PAC has been analyzing the state senators and representatives perfor mance on a conservative said chairman Richard Ford However this is by far the most accurate and broad based report we hospital He was born in St James to Bernard L and Lauren cia Bergerson Landry on Dec 3 J911 He married Rovilla M Toops Caulkins on Jan and has lived in Kerrville for 36 years He was a security guard Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Kerrville Funeral Home Frieda Rauch Frieda Rauch of New Braunfels age 68 died at McKenna Memorial Hos pital March 13 1994 She was born in Comal County Nov 22 1925 She was married to Otto Rauch She was an honorary member of Freiheit Solms Bowling Club she also bowled at Comal Bowling Club Survivors include her husband Otto Rauch daughter Barbara Borchers and husband Ambrose of New Braunfels two sons Otto Rauch Jr and wife June and Roy Rauch and wife Alicia all of New Braunfels motherinlaw Zelda Kuhle of New Braunfels broth erinlaw Bruno Rauch and wife Meliane of New Braunfels 17 grand children eight greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews Services will be held 2 Tues day March 15 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home with the Rev Diabetes Association Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home Dittmar Alice Dittmar of New Braunfels age 83 died at McKenna Memorial Hospital on March She was born in Guadalupe County Nov 8 1910 to Richard and Hilda Baus Dittmar She lived most of her life in New Braunfels A retired registered nurse she was a member of Senior Citizens the Conservation Society and Hermann Sons Lodge No 21 Survivors include brother Ray E Dittmar and wife Ruth of Houston sisterinlaw Jeanette Dittmar of New Braunfels and numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by one sister Mrs Helen White and one brother
