She was bom July 30,1931 in New Braunfels to John Sr. and Alice [Dierks] Foster. She was a lifelong New Braunfels resident who was a food service worker at Seele School. She married Vincent Riodel, who preceded her in death in 1972. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Services are set for IO a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Msgr. Ed Bily officiating. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. Rosary Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home. Memorials to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for masses. OviVt huwf Nelson C. Nolle Nelson C. Nolte, of New Braunfels, died at his residence Dec. 24, 1993 at the age of 73 years. He was bom Jan. 7,1920 at York's Creek, Texas to Adolph W. and Marie [Kretzeier] Nolte. He married Myrtle Henk Sep. 11,1943 in New Braunfels, where he lived for 55 years. He was a past president of Comal Hosiery Mill, having worked there for 32 years. He most recently worked at Williams Heating and Airconditioning. He belonged to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, American Legion New Braunfels Post #'79 for 47 years; Herman Sons; and was a deputy constable for the Comal County Sheriffs Department. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during W.W. II A rosary was seid Monday at 7 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1993 at 2 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Msgr. Edward Bily officiating. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Parkin lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Hospice New Braunfels or to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He is survivicd by: his wife, Myrtle Nolte, of New Braunfels; daughter Suzanne Blackburn and husband Jay of Garland, Texas; sots Kenneth Nolte and wife Judy of Austin and Darryl Nolte and wife Kathie of Houston; sisters Alice Henze of Seguin and Beatrice Wuest of New Braunfels; grandchildren Jennifer, Christopher and Matthew Nolte, and numerous nieces and nephews.
