planning 3 homeless outreach the day after Christmas We get about 10 people to out meetings but we are growing steadi ly We pick up another person or two every said member Steve Smith We are here to help other vets readjust an get into the mainstream of life he Although the international group is geared towards Vietnam vets the local group is reaching out to vets of all wars There are probably five veterans in dire dire need here in the communi ty Smith said They have to deal with alcoholism drug abuse unem ployment because of post traumatic stress disorder A lot of vets have climbed into the closet so to speak and they need to come out and deal with some Issues At our meetings you find a lot of denial People are having problems and they wont admit it has anything to do with Viet mm
