Ambrosio Butch Benitez said he had no knowledge of a memo written by Bluebonnet Motors Co owner Gary Kahlig offering Blue bonnet employees a halfday paid vacation for attending the May 1993 New Braunfels City Council Benitez contends that his coun cil business and Kahligs dealer ship are two seperate and said that he knew nothing of Kahligs intentions to entice his employees to attend the May 24 Tm hardly ever there so I dont know how he does things Benitez What he does with and my council busi dont have anything to do with each Benitez temporarily is serving as mayor until the council can elect a fulltime along with two other coun cil walked out of the May 24 meeting when council man James Goodbread refused to relinquish his council seat after an injunction was issued pro hibiting
