approved the addition of 25 new employees last night for administrative and support positions for the 199394 school In its monthly the New Braunfels Independent School Dis trict of trustees approved a recommended district personnel plan for the 199394 school which includes an addition of 25 employ Thirteen will be hired as sec retaries or secondary and ele mentary school The remainder will be hired for school nutrition trans plant operation and plant A Texas Education Agency waiver request permitting the teaching of algebra and geometry courses over a longer period of time to address the needs in the arm from the New Braunfels Down town Rotary Nile president of the downtown Rotary Club presented Child Welfare Board President Tara Kohlenberg with a check enough money to sponsor four children in the program for one The child welfare a nonprofit agency comprised of a 15member board appointed by the County Commissioners is designed to educate the commu nity about child abuse and neglect and generate money to provide for the chil dren in custody in Comal The Dare to Love program is an out growth of the welfare according to The program waa originally begun in San Antonio and was adopted by Kohlenberg We are the first rural child welfare board to adopt The money received by the board for sponsorship goes toward supporting the children in the program beyond what the state The since they
