And the president of the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce says this type of advertising goes a long way. “Obviously Texas Monthly is a good median for us because we do advertise in there regularly and to have a third party place an ad like this stretches our dollar tremendously,” said Chamber President Tom Fur durn. The 12-page supplement was adapted and updated from the Trail Map series which is published by the Texas State Department of Highways rind Public Transportation and sponsored by GMC Trucks. Other cities featured in the supplement along with New Braunfels are San Antonio, Castroville, Bandera, Utopia, Uvalde, Leakey, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Johnson City, Llano, Mai blo Falls, Austin, Wimberley, and San Marcos.
