Winners in the American History essay contest who were introduced are, from left, Jinny Edwards, sixth grade, first place; Sarah Moscheau, savant grade, third place; Alison Bruemmer, eighth grade, first place; Kristin Schlater, seventh grade, first place; Aleesa Moore, sixth grade, second place; Brookie Werth, eighth grade, second lace; Kelly Vann, eighth grade, third place; Whitney Hermes, seventh grade, second place. The Qty of New Braunfels has proclaimed Saturday, March 2, 1991 "Pro Troop Rally Day." On this day citizens of our community will gather at the square in New Braunfels to show their support for our troops in the Middle East. Guest speakers will include Mayor Amo Becker, County Judge Carter Casteel, State Senator Ed Kuempel and others. Make plans now to attend. On Friday, March 1st The Herald-Zfitunf will publish a complete schedule of events as well as photographs of service men and women from our area now stationed in the Persian Gulf. PEC has developed many “hands-on” educational projects and demonstrations to make learning the basics about electricity, electrical safety and energy conservation as easy as waving a magic wand.
