Laura Mathis takes care of winner Clay Mathis' new jacket won for having the reserve champion lamb Mary Odell is all smiles after being named the winner o junior showmanship in th* hog division senior showmanship award in the hog ion want to Colby Goodson who kept this ny in lint Photos by Leslie Kriewaldt Jill Craighead shows her new buckle and ribbon for having the grand champion hog Saturday The 1987 Comal county 4-H Livestock Show was an exhibition of champions Not only the livestock, but the 4-H’ers and adults involved were winners. The show was conducted last Saturday, and the main purpose was to give members a chance to practice with their animals. Quite a few people and businesses were involved in making this activity successful. We thank Harold Voges, Hubert Eckhardt, Maureen Dunckel and Richard Brandes for being division superintendents and Bonny Johnson for announcing the show. All of these people were presented with “Comal County 4-H advisor” cape in honor of their years of dedication to 4-H.
