New Braunfels Herald Zeitung (Newspaper) - December 4, 1985, New Braunfels, Texas Page 2A Herald Zeftung, New Braunfels,Texas Wednesday, December 4,1985 Reward offered in NBHS vandalism A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the vandals who caused about $20,000 in damage to New Braunfels High School over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Lf Felix Roque said the police department is giving $500 to the reward effort, and with money donated from the New Braunfels High School student council, choir and book club, and from an NBHS graduate, the total has risen to $675. Police believe more than one person is responsible for breaking into the school either the night of Nov. 27 or the morning of Nov. 28. Vandals destroyed 14 rooms, including windows. trophies, typewriters and potted plants. The vandals also broke into the office area, the counselor’s office, the principal’s office and the faculty workroom and ransacked the files and equipment. Principal John Turman said all clean up work has been done and school work is back to normal Roque said the police department has been following up on leads, but has made no arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at'625-3467 or 625-7181.
