BEDFORD COUNTY Man surrenders after holdout SAXTON A Huntingdon County man surrendered to state police Wednesday morning after hiding when police tried to serve a warrant. Members of the state police vice unit visited the home of Paul Lee Seville about a.m. to serve two! arrest warrants for felony drug charges. When Seville wouldn't come to the door of the house on Route 913, about four miles east of Saxton, Carbon Township, a trooper obtained a search warrant to enter the house and find Seville. About 11 a.m., a family member told troopers standing outside the house that Seville shot himself. Troopers immediately entered had hidden himself in the attic with a rifle. Troopers negotiated with him for 1 w hours before Seville sur- rendered without further incident. Seville was arraigned on the felony drug warrants at District Justice Mary Jamison in Orbisonia. State police said additional charges of resisting arrest will be filed. CENTRE COUNTY Jury selection begins in Bellefonte BELLEFONTE Jury selection began Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of conspiring to kill a Centre County man during a drugdeal. Thomas Huddleston, 21, of Philipsburg is charged with criminal homicide, robbery and theft for allegedly helping to dispose of the body of Oscar Camargo, 19, of State College. Jurors selected Wednesday were from a pool of Butler County residents because of concerns about pretrial publicity in Centre County. Testimony is expected to begin Monday. Heath Gordon Quick, 20, of Morrisdale pleaded guilty to fatally shooting Camargo. The plea agreement was struck so Quick could avoid the death penalty and because prosecutors were concerned that evidence against him could be ruled illegal because it was obtained at a sobriety checkpoint. According to court papers, Quick confessed to shooting Camargo on Sept. in a car on the road in Black Moshannon State Park. They were in the middle of a drug deal at the time. Quick told police Camargo owed him and an ounce of cocaine. But when they met that night, Camargo had and a gal- lon-sized bag of marijuana with him. Earlier, Quick and Huddleston had talked about "ripping off" Camargo, police said. Once they stopped later that night, Huddleston said, he saw two flashes and heard gunshots as Quick shot Camargo. Quick and Huddleston put Camargo's body in the trunk, drove to an area of the park called "Devil's dumped the body and cleaned the car, police said.
