They were charged with highway robbery, alleged to have taken ISO and a gold watch oft of Cornelius Nelson. The alleged robbery is said to have taken place in the negro section of the city. Nelson stated that as he came out a door of one of tho houses Williams told him to “stick ’em up.” Williams was armed with a butcher knife.
