By Associated Press 1 WASHINGTON, July Senate refused to take up the tariff 20, nays 23. An agreement on the silver question has been practically reached. It will provide for the pun-hose of ounces of silver a month. The bullion redemption certificates will be re- deemable in coin and a full legal ten- der. A meeting of the full Conference Committee to consider the agreement bas been called, and no doubt it will be ratified. The full Conference Committee met and a report was drawn up by Senator Sherman and adopted. The report was presented to the Senate immedi- ately, and is now being read. HOU8K. The House has gone into Committee of the "Whole for the consideration of the Senate bill to forfeit certain lands heretofore granted for the purpose of aiding in' the construction of roads, with the House substitute therefor.
