Follies Alive 75 Prominent area artist Dr John Stritch of Hinsdale one of the dozens of talented people drawn into working for Follies Alive 75 has designed a stri kingly bold poster of a dancers legs The poster will be used to publicize the Berkshire Medical Center benefit which is being sponsored by the auxiliary and also will be sold to help fatten the coffers Joe Pelkey owner of Editions Ltd collaborated with Dr Stritch in making the art design bright and full of impact With colors of orange yellow purple and black they have zoomed in on the dancers action accord ing to Pelkey Paper for print ing was donated by Crane and Company and Millers Supply Because this is such a beau tiful art design poster we felt it Coffee party will benefit Jewish fund Hy Kalus artistic director of the Jerusalem Theatre and one of Israels leading film and stage directors will speak Tuesday evening at the home of Rabbi and Mrs Arthur Rulnick 141 Wendell Ave The8 pm event an inter national coffee party will ben efit the womens division of the Jewish welfare fund It will climax a monthlong campaign to finance socialwelfare pro grams for needy Jews in Israel and throughout the world as well as to support local Jewish institutions Mr Kalus was born in Provi dence RI and was a member of Actors Studio in New York before moving to Israel in 1953 He has directed modern English and American plays
