being closer than it proved to be on the showdown between Stevenson and Harriman Despite all the claims and coun terclaims made during the week the Iowa vote on the presidential nomination Thursday was almost precisely what a check showed it to be last Sunday It was 16V for Stevenson 7 for Harriman and V for Chandler Harriman Ranks Herschel Loveless nominee for Iowa governor was in the Harri man
