con victionof Walter Davis a Negro on a second degree murder charge for the slaying of John Washington another Negro in Des Moines a year ago A Keokuk county case involving seduction of a young girl and only three cases submitted since the September term were left over until the next year Lake Mills Farmers Will Receive Aid in Protecting Property LAKE MILLS Dec who live within a radius of five miles of Lake Mills may have fire protection from the Lake Mills de partment according to a new plan formulated by the local fire fight ers The farmers wishing the service will be asked to sign an
