July 2 ffi Ruth Pyrtle of Lincoln Nebr md Miss Effie McGregor of Minne ipolis today were nominated for the presidency of the national educa tion association in annual conven tion Election of officers will be belt Wednesday The charge that there were or jamzed movements afoot in most Itate legislatures to curtain public education was before the convention The charge was made by Dr U V Lamkin
