the Security National bank according to the quarterly statement of E F Rorebeck receiver Out of this fund will oe paid the 10 per cent dividend announced sev eral days ago by Mr Rorebeck checks for which will be here in a few days This dividend which will total will be the fifth issued by the receivership and will bring the total amount paid by the bank to 80 per cent Following is Mr Rorebecks management project instituted by farmers of McLean Tazewell Woodford and Livingston counties five years ago has been re organized for a threeyear term Its purpose is to show its mem bers wherein they are losing or making money by comparing their work with that of their neighbors and by the same comparison to in dicate wherein a change of meth ods or crops will increase farm pro fits The project Is an outgrowth of Illinois widely adopted practice of farm accountancy wherein individu al records are analyzed each year and compared to averages for the most profitable groups of farms It started in 1925 when 200 favm ers in the four counties financing the study decided they must have ess generalities and more per sonal service Each wanted his own particular farm analyzed and signed a contract to pay the additional cost Prof H C M Case and M L Mosher of the University of Ili lois college of agriculture were se lected to direct the work At the end of the first three years it was found that 35 of the 200 farms earned 3000 more per year Fire Results From Jug of Gasoline and Oil Heater Fire resulting when a Jug of gas oline overflowed near an oil heater caused a damage of to a Dodge sedan Out of Pouch on Board Vessel LONDON April 1 steamship Leviathans mail has suf fered from thieves again When the mail for the ship from London arrived at Southampton Sat urday morning one of the registered mail hags was found to have heen slit open and a small package taken The exact description could not be obtained It was reported also that sev eral registered letters were taken Some said the package taken was consigned from a London diamond merchant to a firm in Bogota Co lombia It was assumed the theft took place in London Bonds jewelry and money estimated in some advices at to 500009 but said by the government to be not more than were stolen from the mall of the Leviathan while it was at sea between New York and Southamp ton and Cherbourg last June There were three arrests
