shows an in crease of 71 car londs This easily makea the city one of the largest freight shipping points m this part of the country the exception ot some of the largest cities for St ships as much aa many places several times Its size The increasewas not even as In some lines the number ot cars was smaller than In 1927 This nas true of onions which fell oft 84 cars on account of a smaller crop There were also 9 cars less of mixed vegetables However more than double the cars of potatoes were shipped out 103 in 19ig compared to SO In 1927 and there was a large Increase in stock ship ments 350
