(UPI) A tree believed to be the oldest and largest in Pennsylvania toppled over in a heavy storm. The aged sycamore, which stood 100 feet tall and mea- sured 9.5 feet in diameter, fell over on the farm property of Mrs. Elvin Rehkugler here, leaving only a 15-foot stump. Lancaster Historical Society officials and a curator at Lancaster's North Museum had labeled it the largest and oldest tree in the state. Mrs. Rehkugler said there used to be four or five barns surrounding the tree, but they were torn down last winter, leaving it vulnerable to the el- ements. She said her only hope was .to salvage the remaining trunk in the hope it will flower in the springtime and continue to grow. He said the Central Y Judo club, which features classes for beginners, is open both to boys and girls and to men and women. It is also open to non- Y members upon payment of a program fee. Classes for youngsters 9 through 14 are held each Mon- day from 6 to 7 p.m. Classes for men and women meet ev- ery Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. 4 Doctors Named Pediatrics Fellows EVANSTON, 111.
