The 20-year-old soloist was graduated in 1972 from Kennedy high school and has been study- ing for a degree in music educa- tion at Indiana university, He has played in the munici- pal band for five years and has soloed previously. Selections to be presented by the band are: "The a concert march by Osterling: "Orpheus" overture by Offenbach; "Be- guine for Band" by Osser; Ben- nett's ''Clarinet "Soirees Musicales" by Rossini- Britten: the John Philip Sousa march "Semper "Pas Redouble" by St. Saens; "An Irish Rhapsody" by Grundman; "Burst of a concert march by Bowles; "Walt Disney Band Showcase" by Werle andj another Sousa march, "Hands! Across the I Frank Kluesner. 2729 Dale-j wood avenue SE, will be thej guest conductor for the per-; formance. Kluesner was a member of the Cedar Rapids symphony, for 12 years and played in the U.S. army band for three years.
