In Pi events which are characteristic of Commence- men I were carried on this year with unusual suc- cess. Coe is surely growing in all ways. Never have such large crowds attended the Commencement Week exercises, nor have the entertainments ever been so successfully performed as tin's year. June 6th. Preparatory Entertainment. The opening exercise was the annual entertainment of the Preparatory Department which was rendered on the evening of June 6th. Although circumstances prevented the Preparatory students from giving the program they had in tended and prepared for yet the audience could not tell but that the pro- gram given had received the greatest preparation. Misses Fow- ler, Grouse, Paul and Moffit ably assisted the Preps. The fol- lowing is the program: Invocation Professor Bryant Vocal Solo 'Forgotten" Clinton J.
