"a* The above notice ii given to firevent the Insured losing the Benefit of their Policies, by omitting to make such payments in proper time. This OtSce insures against loss or damage by fire, all descriptions of buildings, goods, wares, and merchandize, ships in harbour and in dock, craft on navigable rivers and canals, and goods laden in the same, waggons '.ravelling the roads, and their contents, and farming stock of all descriptions. No charge will be made for Policies in which the sum insured amounts to 3001. and upwards; and all losses by fire are paid without any deduction. This Office payB for damage by fire from lightning. Penan* may insure for more years than one, and in such insurances an allowance of 5 per cent, per annum, compound interest, will be mads on the premium, and duty received for every year, except the first. THE SUN LIFE OFFICE insures at premiums, which, under forty-five years ot age, when the assurance is for the whole of life, and under fifty-five for shorter periods, are considerably lower than are generally required.
