" I That every Bum Boat, Or ether Boat wbatfoever,' to be u/ed and navigated for the Purpofes,and within the Limits in the faid A3 mentioned, pall be marked as by the faid A3 is direSed, as follows.: ? I. The. Figure or*Figures compoftng the Ndniler' of each Boat to he not lefs than Four Inches in Height, and in every ether RefpeS proportionable thereto, and to be marked on the Outfide of the Stern; the Tops of which Figure or Figures in the Bows to be no more than three Inches below the upper Stroke.. * II. The Name cr Names, and Place or.Places of Abode, of the Owner or Owners, to be marked en eaehjn-ftde of the Boat, upon the upper Streake, as near the Middle as may be, the Letters compoftng fucb . Name or Names, arid Place or Places of Abode, to be not lefs than two Inches in Height, and in every � other Refpe3 proportionable thereto. III. The/aid Numbers,'Names, and Places of Abode, to be marked with Paint made of White Lead and Oil, upon a black Ground of Paint. IV. That fo often as fuch Numberj, Names, and Places of Abode, or any of'the Figure or Figures, or Letters compoftng the fame, are defaced, the fame .
