THIS Day Philip Sharpe, Efq; was, by His Majefty's Command, fvvorn one of the Clerks of His Majefty's moft Honourable Privy Council in Ordinary, upon the Resignation" of Francis Vernon, Efq; created L6rd Orwell, of the Kingdom of Ireland. Petersburg, March' �6. s Yeflerday the Chafnbelian Shuwalow was ihilafled in the Office of Director of the Corps de Cadets; 'and upon that Occafion the Emperor, with a numerous Company of Ladies and Gentlemen, palled the whole Day at his Hotel. There is a Council appointed fdr Military Affairs, which meets twice a Week, and where his Imperial Majefty prefide's in Perfbn: It is compofed of the .Two-- Princes of Holftein," Field Marlhal Prince Trubetfioy, General Villebbis, and fo'me other Officers. ......
