James's, the 9th of April, PRE SEN T, The K ING's moil Excellent Majefty in Council. WH ERE A S"' the Time limited by HisMa; jetty's Order in Council of the 19th of October laft, for prohibiting the Exporting out of this Kingdom, or carrying Coaftwife, Gunpowder,7Salt Petre, or any Sort of Arms or Ammunition, will expire upon the 29th Day of this Inftant Aj�il And whereas it is judged expedient for His Majefty's Service, and the Safety of this. Kingdom, that the faid Prohibition mould.be continued forborne longerTime; His Majefty doth therefore, by and with the Advice of His Privy Council, hereby Order, Require, Prohibit and Command, That rtoPerfon or Perfbns whatfoever (except the Matter General, Lieutenant General, or Principal Officers of the, Ordnance for His Majefty's Service) do, at.any Time* during the Space of Six Months, to commence from the faid 29th Day of this Inftant April, prefume to transport into any Parts out of this Kingdom, or carry Coaftwife, any Gunpowder Salt Petre, or any Sort of Arms or Ammunition, or lhip or lade any Gunpowder, Salt Petre, or any Sort of Arms or Ammunition, on Board any Ship or Veflel, in order to franfporting the Jame into any Parts beyond the Seas, or carrying'the fame Coaft-wife, without Leave or Permiffion in that Behalf hril obtained from His Majefty, 0r His Privy Council, upon Pain of incurring and fufFering the rcrpeftiye Forfeitures and Penalties inflicted by an Aft patted in the Twenty Ninth Year of His late Majefty's Reign, entituled,-" An Aft to impower His Majefty to pro-�' hibit the Exportation of Salt Petre, and .to enforce *' the Law for impowering His Majefty to prohibit " the Exportation of Gunpowder, or any Sort of Arms and Ammunition ; andalfoto impower Hisl �' Majefty to reftrain the carrying.Coaftwife of Salt *' Petre, Gunpowder, or any Sort of Arms or Ammu* " nition." And the Lords Commiffioners of His Majefty's Treafury, the Ccanmiffionera for Executing the Office of Lord High Admiral of Great Britain, the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, the Matter General of the Ordnance, and His Majefty's Secretary at War, are to give the neceflary Directions herein, as to them may refpeftivelyappertain.' Age of Eighteen Years, who lhould, on or before the Thirty, iirft Day iof March laft, enter themfelves to ferve in His Majefty's Royal Navy, either with the Captains or [ Price Three Pence. ] j Lieutenants of His Majefty's Ships, or.the Chief Officers on Board fuch Tenders as lhould fie era-v ployed for Raifing Men for the Service of the Royal Navy ; and that a Bounty of Thirty Shillings lhould be paid to every "Able-bodied Landman, not above the Age of Thirty-five, nor under the Age of Eighteen Years, who fhbuld, on or before the faid Thirty-firft Day of;,March laft, in like Manner, voluntarily enter, trlemfelves to ferve in His Majefty's Royal Navy rarid.lthat a Reward of Five Pounds ,fbr every Able, Nand Two Pounds Ten Shillings for every.'Ordinary Seaman, fhouhi. be paid tetany Per-kbn, who lhould difcover any Seaman or Seamen ?who lhould fecret. .themfelves,'': fathat fuch Seaman or Seamen lhould (be taken for His Majefty's faid Service-And whereas the Time limited for paying the faid Bounties and Rewards expired on the Thirty* firtt ofMarchjaft j and it being judged expedient fo* His Majefty's.Service, that the fame lhould be continued to be.paid from the .faid 31ft of March, to the 31ft of May next j and that fome Alterations fhou!d be made in the Manner of Payment of the; faid Bounties ,and Rewards^His Majefty, with the-Advice of His PrivyrCouncil, doth therefore Order * and it is hereby accordingly ordered, That the aforementioned Bounties of Six Pdiinds for every Able Seaman, and. of Three Pounds for every Ordinary Seaman, be continued to be paid to every fuch Able and Ordinary Seaman, not above the Age of Fifty, nor under the Age of Eighteen Years, who fhall, on or before the 31ft Day of May next, voluntarily enter themfelves to ferve in His ^Majefty's Navy* either with the Captains or Lieutenants of His' Majefty's Ships, or the Chief Officers - on Board fuch Tenders as mail be employed for Raifing Men for the Service of His Majefty's Navy j And alfo, that the Bounty of Thirty Shillings be continued to be paid to every Able-bodied Landman not above the Age of Thirty-five, nor under the Age of Eighteen. Years, who fhall, on or before the faid 31ft Day of! ;May next* voluntarily enter themfelves in . like -Manner to ferve in His Majefty's Royal Navy ; And that fuch1refpeftive Sums be paid to all fuch Seamen and Landmen immediately upon their Entring, by Jthe Officers, employed in Raifing Men for His Majefty's Fleet, with whom fuch Seamen, and Landmen 3hall" refpeftively enter; and where there is not. -any Regulating Officer, by the Clerk of the Cheque ;or Naval Officer of any .of His Majefty's Dockyards-And His Majefty doth hereby further Order, ;That the aforementioned Rewards-of Five Pounds . for every Able, and Two Pounds Ten Shillings for every Ordinary Seaman, be continued to be paid to any Perfon who Ihall difcover any Seaman orSea-men who may fecret <hemfelves, fo that fuch Seaman or Seamen Ihall be; taken for His Majefty's faid Service on or before the faid jtft Day of May next, by any Sea Officers employed for railing Men, or be brought to any of the faid Officers, or to the Clerks of the Cheque or Naval Officer at any of His Majefty's Dock-yards1 ': The faid Rewards to be paid for any Seaman. or Seamen fo difcovered and taken, in and/about London, by the Principal Officer* and Comrniffioners. of.
