Daily Courant (Newspaper) - December 28, 1730, London, Middlesex The Daily Cburarit. NO. 1918 Monday, December 2,8, 1730. To CALEB D!ANVERS, Mr. D*Anvers% S I am a Whig of the Revolution Stamp, I muft be greatly pleas'd wich your Defign to reftore and perpetuate the true Revolution Principles. The only Thing I object to is, the Method our Friend hismzde choice of to propofe his. Scheme, for effecting fo laudable a Defign, to the Britijb Parliament. With all due Submiflion to his and your fuperior Judgment, I would propofe another Method for the doing of this, vi%. That a Petition fhould be drawn up, and fign'd by all the D%Anverss, to be left in all the moft noted Coffee-HoufeS and Choco-late*Houfes, from St. James's to Garrawafs, without any regard to Whig or Tory Houfes, for'tis not yet a time to pick and cull our Party; in order to invite and give all pbffible Opportunity, publick Notice, and Encouragement to all Parties to join us, and fubferibe their Names to this our humble Petition, that it nay be ready to be prefented to the Houfe at the Opening of the Seifions. Herewith I fend you the Form of a Petition, which I (hall ex-ped: to fee publifhed in your next Journal, with fuclrAdditions and Alterations, as you or our Friend fhall think proper to make. You'll obferve, I have drawn the Petition in our Friend's own exprefs Words. The few Variations or K^\w^%J^a^KM^f A**I-am very {art,?
