Paris, Jan. 18. N.S. THE King has granted to M- Le Bret, firft Prefident of rhe Parliament of Aix, and Intendant of Provence, a Warrant of Compatibility, chat be may hold both thofe Places four Years, with that of Counfellor of State. The Chevalier de Maids has bought a Lieutenant's Commiflion that was vacant in the Gendarmerie. The King has granted to Father Bourfaulr, a Theatin Monk, and Preacher in Ordinary to his Majefty, a Penfion of too LivresaYear. A great many Doctors of Sorbonne, who were not at the Aflembly the 15 th ult. have adhered by Letters to the Decree made there, in that Day, about the Acceptation of the Constitution. On the 8th Inftant, the Chevalier de Sou-deilles had the Honowto prefect to the King the Falcons which the Great Mafter is wont to fend every Year to his Majefty. It was not M. de Vafly, as was faid by Miftake, that obtained the Company vacant in the Regiment of French Guards by the Death of M. de Fougerais ; but M. Charpen-tier, Lieutenant of the firft Company of Grenadiers of that Regiment: And the King has granted a Penfion to M. de Fougerais's Widow. The Abbot de Beaulieu died fuddenly the 12th Inftant, at the Hotel de Tours $ whereby two Abbeys are become vacant. MademoifelleDaguefleau, the Chancellor's Daughter, who has been very ill for fome Days paft, is fomewhat better. As is likewtfe M. de Paris, Captain in the Regiment of French Guards, who has been dangeroufly ill. The Actions continue rifing, and are now at 1450. Letters from Seville, of the 30th paft, ad-vife, that upon the 26th the Queen of Spain went to Mafs in the Royal Chappel of the Alcazar for the firft Time fince her Lying-in, the 40 Days being expired; and the next Day in the Afternoon, their Majeftics and their HighnefFes went in State to the Metropolitan Church, to return God Thanks for her Majefty's fafe Delivery. LONDON. This Day the Commiflion appointing the Lord Forbes Governor of the Leeward Iflands is to pa fs the Great Seal. Friday    February 13 Yefterday one Richard Haddock, and Ch-rles Rogers were committed to Newgate by Juftice Bourke and Juftice Hughes, on rhe Oaths of. Thomas King and Stephen Daudell, for Felony, in ftealing out of the Shop of rhe Mafter of rhe faid Thomas King on Snow-hill, the Sum of 70.I. in Money. On Saturday Iaft died the Lord Frederick Manners, youngeft Son of his Grace rhe Duke of Rutland. The fame Evening; a great Number of the Members of rhe Houfe of Commons m:t at his Grace the Duke of Newcaftle's Office at the dock-pit; and a great many of the Peers met at the Lord Townfhe.nd"s Houfe in the Stable Yards, St. James's. The fame Day Mr. Bohee, one of his Majefty's Meflengers, arrived with an Exprefs from France. The fame Morning about 00 Workmen, as Shipwrights, Sail-makers, &�. were difcharged out of his Majefty's Yard at Deptford : And about the like Number out of his Majefty's Yard at Woolwich ; and we hear there will be a Reducement out of his Majefty's Yards at Chatham Portfmouth and Plimouth of about the like Num ber. On Saturday laft one Thomas Doler, Thomas Dolby, and one Rogers a Bailiff's Follower, were fecured in St. Martin's Round-Houfe upon an Information of one of their Gang ; and being examined on Sunday laft before a Bench of Ju-ftices, were by them committed to the Gatehoufe for Street Robberies, &c. and this Day two o-thers of rhe faid Gang that ufually blacked Shoes on the Parade in St. James's Park, were al-fo taken by rhe aforefaid Information, and were by Juftice Hughes, the Judge Advocate at the Horfe Guards, committed to the faid Gaol. The aforefaid Thomas Doler is one of the Evidences againft Mr. A&on, who is to take his Tryal the next Affiles for the County of Suirey, oh an Appeal for Murder. VOTES of the Houfe of Commons of Ireland. December 30. MR. Betlefwortb, according to Order, reported from the Committee of the whole Houie, to whom Heads of a Bill, For Repairing the Road leading from the City of Dublin, to the Town   Ordered, That the faid Peririon be refer^ the Confideration of a Committee, and that1 do examine the Matter thereof, and Repor| fame with their Opinion thereupon to the H^
