through Saturday the brothers of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity stood out on the Angola circle and raised over for the Turning Point Ever since the project started in vol from the fraternity have and we knew they were hurting for money so we decided to help them said The brothers signed up for 46 hour shifts and took turns standing at each of the four intersections leading up to the circle hold ing signs and buckets for collections while waving to From Friday night to Saturday morning and then picking up again at in the morning and continuing on to in the the brothers braved the cold and rainy weather to collect a grand total of for the homeless The shelter will use this money to supply food and shelter for those who need as well as for paying off Although the campaign usually occurs during the month of the brothers thought they would beat the cold weather this year and hold the event The weather for the weekend was still cold and TKE member Josh Ruge commented that the community was really generous and that people would stop by to bring hot chocolate and coffee to keep the guys Coldwell Bank added to the event by donating some pumpkins for the Fraternity to pass out
