MOTION Thousands Jam Streets and Court Room to Catch Glimpse of Gang Leader Al Pleads Guilty CHICAGO June Alphonse Ca pone scarf aced czai of Chicagos gangs pleaded guilty to three federal indictments today surrendering in a federal court hearing to a mass of evidence and a striking re cord of prosecutions Two indictments charging him with evading income taxes and another naming him and 08 others for con to violate the prohibition laws on 5000 charges were read in Federal Judge James H Wilkersons court After each indictment the burly gangster meekly said guilty On a defense motion the court deferred sen tence until June 30 Fifteen minutes after he had en tered the federal court building Ca pone was gone escorted through the crowds by a squad of police a mon arch stripped of his realm
