law recently passed by our State Kansas It provides that no school contract shall be entered into with any lady teacher who is married or engaged to be married and the law further requires the feminine teacher to sign a contract which provides that she will not accept the attention of any suitors during the term of her contract We are not informed as to the mo lives behind this law but to us it would seem inexcusable Altho we must admit have come o where matrimony was not a tiling of beauty and a joy forever yet we are not ready to confess that marriage so changes the nature of A human
