Settler Died Tuesday Griggs Died Tuesday Morn ing at Home of His Cas sius Funeral Held Today Tuesday morning at three oclock Thomas Griggs died at the home of his Cassius Griggs 732 west Fourth after but a few days Griggs was born at New June whre he lived until when his parents moved to Trumbull where Thomas grew to He had good school advantages and in his early manhood he was appointed to the position of superintendent of the penitentiary by Governor while later he was retained in the position by Governor serving in that capacity for three and a half Griggs afterwards removed to where he
