moral rather than legal The does not provide a remedy for the type of injustice that is operative in this contract The purchasers in the case the Clays paid a race tax of over when they bought their home because it was impossible for Negroes to obtain mortgages This is a striking example of how onr legal system does not protect black people or poor people A representative of Best Real Estate who serene Under the Redmond plan May and Spencer pupils from certain blocks were to be the first bused and if the busing roster did not reach the ity of 573 students from other blocks would be invited to take part Dr Bell said Monday that parents in the blocks initially on the Redmond list were being contacted again and he said the response has been most favorable He claimed many parents were reluctant at first fo send their children into the new area in face of some of the violent vocal opposition ex- pressed by organizations in the receiving school areas Now that these parents see there is no danger more and more of them are the situation and are taking their children out of the overcrowded rooms at May and Spencer and ting them on buses to the new Dr Bell said The district school
