Blowing of Whistles and Ringing of Bell With whistles blowing church bolls campaign the workers settled down to more methodical way of celebrating their victory Congratulations were offered to each and all the campaigners and those who were present and in fact to everybody ringing bands and the hun dreds of workers shouting with joy and shaking hands and offering con gratulations the Twelve Day Cam of the Y M C A closed last oclock with the desired safely pledged The scene In and C A building where hundreds of anxious supporters and those who had gathered the come was one of joy and ing and an occasion that will long be remembered by the citizens of Water loo Although the that the to night the people were not prepared to receive the glad such ari out burst of at the parks and others who the river and everyone was hurrying homeward until It was learned that the consternation meant the grand victory of tlie Y M C A workers at ed to joy whole city was uni ted in a general thanksgiving and words of praise and good cheer could be heard upon the streets and in the arising from their beds to join in of the campaign workers and the gal lant victory won On Wednesday morning when the to tal was found that was still to be rais ed and with only one day remaining in It the working forces were doubled and the campaigners set out early with a determination to win The good results of the workers the ministers and the news papers who assisted so materially in the work and paida beautiful tribute to the complimenting her cit zens as being an energetic and zeal bus people He stated that be worn by the beautiful city of Wa PLEDGES WERE MANY The work of checking up the amounts collected by the different teams and arranging the lists Into a formula for collecting has been going on all day and is found to be a ted piece of work when it is taken into consideration that there were a total of 975 pledges secured in the campaign The flve young mens teams made a creditable showing and
