passed away at the Spencer Municipal Hospital on O ct 4 1970 after a lingering illness of thirteen months She was granted 66 years 10 months 10 days of life by her creator Hilda Hanson attended the ven School and has always returned to Ruthven tely These are leased from the Pullman Company It is hoped that this action will alleviate the tie up of movement of grain during the peak harvest season HAROLD'S CLOVER HILDA ABBT FARM STORE WINS AWARD Hilda Abby Nelson the daughter Harold's Clover Farm Store our local grocery Store received the 197 0 award for Outstanding Store t at the Tri State Food Festival at Spencer last Sunday The Festival was sponsored by M Hakes and was held at the Commercial Building at the Clay County Fair Grounds Many of the suppliers had booths and showed their in- new products and presented interesting od of displaying and tising their merchandise Mr Mrs Harold Schur and Mr Mrs Jim Schurg attended the val They report that what the Clay County fair is to the farmers the Tri-State tival is to the grocer FOOTBALL Ruthven will play Graettinger at tinger Fri Oct 9 at P.M This time is changed because this end is Homecoming at ettinger Note again time is P.M ELEVATOR LEASES CARS The Farmers Coop Elevator Co has leased ten covered Hopper cars of 3600 bushel capacity These are bright yellow in color and have the name of the Coop on the side They will always There arc 30 youngsters in the picture and only 3 of them reside in Ruthven at the present time Jeanne Hanna Sturdevant Marie Miller Rierson and Margaret Reed Nelson Homecoming at the Ruthven School
