constitutional officers knew more state budget cuts were on the but the reality that hit this month has left sev eral of them scratching their heads and frantically crunch ing An April 1 memorandum from State Compensation Board proposes a tentative Positions and salaries could be casualties reduction for constitutional offices that includes cutting all office all hourly wage and all currently vacant as well as reducing staff Any officer wanting to amend this plan was required to submit a pro posal in writing by April By May the board is expected to have the final num bers and to have
