Since 1 906 Home Delivery 70 Cents Single Jury imposes 71 year prison sentence for May By DEE ANN LINDSEY Assistant Editor A 71 year prison sentence rec by a Pulaski County jury in May of 1995 against Kevin Bradley May was imposed Thursday in Pulaski County Cir cuit according to Com Attorney Everett May was sentenced for the 1993 knifing of Pulaski Police Officer John May had claimed during the trial that Goad cut himself on a broken glass in a storm Shockley said May received 35 years for breaking into his ex girlfriends apartment with the intent to maliciously May got 15 years each for malicious wounding in the two knife cuts to Goads and he received six 12month sentences for impeding police The last charge came when he exited the building and was surrounded by six cers and lunged at them with a 0 Goad was one of several cers who responded to a call in the early hours of 1993 at the home of Susan Jones at 706 4th officers were responding to what they believed to be a domestic Three Pulaski Police officers arrived on the scene May had gone to Jones house despite a restraining A 911 call reveals that May was attempting to kick in the door at Jones Police were having culty murder conviction over The decision was handed down earlier this Commonwealths Attorney Everett Shockley Friday he was pleased that the conviction has been Shockley said he knows that Price has one more possible appeal to the Virginia Supreme and he wont be surprised should Price seek such an Price has had the unusual ben of being out on bond during his murder conviction Price was convicted of
