INDUSTRIAL MATTERS The Reed Paper Co ers of Milwaukee is negotiating with the Grafton Advancement sociation with intent to acquire the old Gerlach creamery property opposite the inter-urban tion in that town and hopes to move there shortly The Stehling Co Milwaukee owners of what is known as the old Cedarburg foundry located on the Hamilton road near the Canning Machinery plant and east of the railroad tracks lias begun proceedings to get back control of that property from the roofing con- cern that had a ten-year lease and is now some years behind in rent and obtain a court decision ing said lease and then it is stated some sort of a factory will be started in that building malting the sixth new business enterprise in Cedarburg in the present year Hurrah for There was a premature an- about the old record factory in Grafton published in the county papers that this plant had been taken over by a Chicago bakelite concern The fact is that negotiations at present writing have not been closed though it is expected the deal will be completed some time this month The Cedarburg garage burned down November 10th located next to Wirth's store Cedarburg has had the ruins torn down and a modern building will be erected on that location A new movie building is in in Grafton to be located on the vacant lot owned by Mr len facing the village square Work on n e w movie in the old Boerner store buildings is progressing steadily and it is stated that it will be ed for business in approximately sixty days Some Milwaukee parties are looking over property on both sides of the river near
