5 a m lo make repairs lo COMPANY The lifeless body of Franklin A Myers retired butcher was found at o'clock Monday morning in the bedroom of his home at ver with a bullet wound in his head Coroner L U Zech said the wound was self-inflicted and listed the shooting as a suicide He was 61 years old The tragedy was discovered by Mrs Myers Beside the dead man's body was found a 32 calibre rifle from which evidence pointed the shot was fired The bullet entered Myers right temple plowed through his brain and left the head above the left temple The shot was not heard by any member of the family the coroner learned apparently be- cause an electric washing machine WPBS in operation downstairs muffled the noise Members of the family said they knew of no motive for the ing Myers seemed in his usual health Sunday night when he at- tended church services However several years ago he suffered a stroke and he had been in failing health since Going upstairs to call her husband for dinner Mrs Myers
