was put on wheels and by a great string of oxen a dozen or more yoke of them was hauled down to the new town of Moberly and placed on the present site at 209 North Williams street where it was used aa a dwelling up to 1885 when it was moved up to the side walk and fitted up for offices When Pokeberry was moved from old Allen it consisted of but two rooms all the back end and porch es was added
