Marion City Council continues to struggle with exotic dance bar issue The good and bad of an Iowa By Duane Marion Times The Marion City Council entered its Thursday night regular meeting hoping City Attorney Don would give them some suggestions on how to prevent the Foxes Den exotic dance bar from opening They left the meeting without Hoskins told the council that after reviewing an ordinance from that there was no real way that Marion could pre vent such an establishment from opening The which was sub mitted to Hoskins by ember pornographic businesses that did not have a liquor license could be regulated by a com but could not be prohibited by the You could regulate how close they are to a church or school and what zoning classification they can go but they just prohib Hoskins The last Mussman We have one more layer to put on 5th Avenue between 11th and 22nd streets and a layer to put on 12th Street between 10th and 14th Mussman said another major project is reconstruction on ment would be best for the Should the city maintain its cur rent commissioner form of govern ment or should the city adopt a strong mayor form of government or a coun style of leadership While there
