of sylvania came out of a Ii n conference with President Johnson today saying Johnson is talking of Vietnamese expenditures rising at least billion over this present year First Of Series Asked whether White Sands Missile Range Having the distinction of being World I flight I squadron to meet pilots and their spouses are gathering for their three-day visit in Las Cruces with headquarters at the Amador Hotel Between 40 and 50 squadron members and their wives are expected to at- tend Col Arthur D Dodds USA a resident of Las Cruces has arranged a program for the visitors who are coming from 10 states with the largest from California In ad- dition to visiting this national missile range they will go to White Sands National Monument other points of interest in the area Flew At Verdun The Squadron dates back to October 8 1917 when the was activated at Rockwell Field Calif known today as the Navy's North land in San Diego The men sailed for France on December 15 1917 but due to enemy sub- marine activity in the north At- they were sidetracked and landed at Winchester land The squadron was divided into units with each assigned to a British unit After four months training with the
